2010 Winter Olympics!!!!!

Canada thrashed Russiqa 7-3 tonight! They are going to face the winner of Sweden-Slovakia game.
 
Canada is going to play against Slovakia after Slovakia upset Sweden last night.
 
USA's women team will play against Canada for gold medal at 6:30 pm today. :Ohno:

Very glad the Canada women won the gold.. but hats off to the USA gals for a good spirited game with Canada for the gold medal.. now if the rest of the gals teams of the world can catch up to both Canada and USA then it would be fun to watch...

Now gotta wait for the semifinals today (USA vs Finland, Canada vs Slovakia).. and I am thinking a rematch for Canada and USA in the gold medal game... should be fun to see if it happens or not!!!

There will may be no more women's hockey event in next winter Olympic where will be held in Sochi, Russia in 2014.
 
Ya sure about that, Royale?? We will have to see if there is an official announcement about that somehow... but I think it will continue on for 2014...
 
Yeah, Royale.. but I have to wonder how long can Canada and USA wait for the rest of the world to catch up in power and more in women's hockey?

I do not think that they will be able to catch up unless they get alot of helps from us.

Hmm I would have to agree with you on this... yes there should be a lot of help but I am thinking it is the case somehow.. I think I did see a few Canadians and Americans helping out the other countries before but cant be sure 100% for that for womens hockey but that is the case for men's hockey ...

LOL Belarus is doing good, as I know that one Canadian was helping coach the team I believe the name is Glen Hanlon... nice fellow for sure and former Detroit Red Wings and Vancouver Canucks goalie...

Yes Belarus sure impressed me ... I think it would be a nice step for Belarus to be on the equal footing as Canada, USA, Russia, Sweden and more...

LOL if I ever see a women's hockey from South Korea, it would be very cool for sure.. look at what is happening with China.. and I know Japan had a women's hockey team at the 1998 Nagano Olympics... would be nice to see Japan back there for both women and men's hockey...
