Exactly that was how he won, because GWB don't get much polls through votes.... sooo people dissed him and chose Obama instead.

huh? there were PLENTY of polls on GWB. the polls show that GWB had lowest popularity rating. the polls show that people think GWB is a criminal. the polls show that they demand "change" and accountability. That's why Obama won.

I think Obama is a criminal, too. It's one of the reasons why I opposed all of his ideas. I am glad there's a poll to show its percent droppin' about Obama. People ain't that dumb after what they've learned a few things.

WHAT? what crimes has he committed? Would you care to explain why he's one? I hope you can back it up. Just being liberal or a conservative ain't a crime.

Ok, just for the record, not all conservatives think he's a "criminal". We just don't agree with his policies and feel he is doing our country a disservice.
 
Polls are unreliable because it's only a small sampling pool. You ask 1000 people, and maybe by luck they would happen to be all over the age of 40... that would really slant the results and so on.

On the flipside, maybe they end up polling over a thousand people under the age of 25, that would skew the results as well.
 
You're right, the percentage of people who dislike Obama is probably much higher :P

I feel sorry for Obama. What I have feared at the beginning looks like it has already happened---AIPAC got to him.
But thank God we have Obama instead of McCain. Otherwise we would be dealing with another whole set of problems, nuclear fallout being one of them.

Possibly. McCain wasn't my first choice either. I would much have preferred Romney on the ticket. Too bad people discriminated against him based on HIS religion (LDS). He would have been an excellent presidential candidate. What bothers me most is that I don't believe people voted for Obama based on his credentials (as he didn't have ANY), but only based on the color of his skin. Heck, I would vote for Condi in a heartbeat!
 
Obama *DIDN'T* have much credentials. He was only a Senator for 150 days while the rest were mostly spent campaigning for the top spot for over 1 year and a half. Talk about derilection of duty, and he's doing that now with the Af-Pak situation. Truly abominable.
 
I'm not going vote any of president candidate who are against on GLBT rights, support GLBT rights is my biggest priority, also it is part of very important for me.

A candidate can promise you anything they want to get your vote. Doesn't mean they will follow through once in office. Furthermore, that may be a big consideration for you, but for the other 97% of the population, it isn't necessarily a priority. (3% of the population is GLBT)

There's mixed of straight people does support GLBT rights, either is civil unions or marriage, even some do support but don't believe in marriage.

Obama wasn't my choice for democratic candidate.

That is a rather bold comment... considering I know straight people that were hoping to see Obama in power just so they would allow gays to marry and be in the military as well as reverse everything Bush did,

That's true. I am considered a liberal conservative, as I support civil unions but not marriage for homosexuals. Doesn't mean that it is my prime issue to consider when voting though.
