I can tell you what I don't approve of. I do not approve of drivers under the influence driving 115 mph the wrong way on the freeway that not only flee police, but attempt to attack them when finally apprehended.

If you want to live your life free of danger from getting your ass kicked by a police officer - just follow some very basic safety rules. Rodney King is very lucky - he did not have to learn how to walk, eat, poop, and talk again like reginald Denny did. Furthermore, Denny was obeying all traffic laws and was doing nothing illegal.

So they should be beaten senseless on the side of the road and left with permanent brain damage? I think it is illegal for cops to act as judge, jury and executioner. That is why we have courts.

Denny's attackers were arrested and put in prison. Justice served.

Anybody can say anything and claim to be of a particular race or ethnic group in a forum when credibility has not be established.
Good point. When a poster's identity is in question, how can anything that poster says be given any credibility?

Regardless of their arguable accuracy, public focus on the disproportionate representation of minorities in violent crime rate statistics has led to both the general racialization of the discussion regarding crime[46] as well as to the emergence of a racial stereotype which characterizes young African American men as "inherently more sinister, evil and dangerous" than the young men of other racial groups, which Katheryn Russell-Brown has dubbed the "criminal black man" stereotype.[47] Research conducted over the last two decades on the public perceptions of crime reveals that 54% of surveyed White Americans believe that African Americans are more prone to violent behavior.

So you have no problem with a crackhead driving 115 mph the wrong way on a freeway who attacks a police officer attempting to arrest him?

That crackhead should be immediately apprehended and punished to the fullest extent of the law but that doesn't mean officers should go ahead and do the beating for us. They're just as much criminal as that crackhead. That's why 2 officers went to jail.

no wonder you support vigilantism. I thought you're all about "innocents until proven guilty"?

Gotta determine that they are a crackhead first. Can't just think they are because of the color of their skin.

Okay, the police should be remain civil and they could try to take it down without harm to person's body, beside taser gun. I know that you can be charged for resist to officer when attempt to handcuff.

Honest with you, any citizens are free to not follow the law whatever they want and they will slap with serious consequence. I'm not interested to break any laws and I know it will be permanent damage to my lifestyle.

so.... you approve of illegal police beating and excessive force? (would it be possible if you can answer my question with a simple yes or no instead of answering my question with a question)

Denny's attackers were arrested and put in prison. Justice served.

And the courts found the police officers were justified. That then resulted in the Reginald Denny beating.

Is that your idea of justice? To take a law abiding citizen and drag them out of a car and smash their head in?

That does not even compare to the repeat offenses Rodney King did that led up to four officers who got sick of his BS. And no, not all of them were "white".

Have you ever had a family member or loved one killed by a drunk driver?

Why did 2 of them go to prison?

I've had family members burned out of their homes by white people. What's your point?
