You could theoretically break order or drop elements for some types of sentences (just as you could with English), but you generally want to stick to a specific order and syntax (just as you should with English). Not to mention you should master the correct order before really moving to anything...

I'd be curious, too. I know some speech path classes are FREAKY speech/amplification oriented (at my college, Deaf Ed majors and some speech paths had to take a speech for the deaf class... one I didn't want to *utterly* despise but ultimately did). Her posts don't make any mention of rejecting...

I feel like I've seen it before (I think I know what it means, ASL-wise)... but I also have no idea of an English word for it (heck, I don't even know where I've even learned it from, as it wasn't taught in class and my out-of-class sign environments have all been educational settings...

I had what we're fairly sure was a brown recluse land on my face in my dad house as a child. My eyes were closed, and I could feel it. My dad saw it when I started screaming, and he got it off my face and flushed it down the toilet.

Probably the TV station first (though if it's right with them, it may then be Comcast's responsibility... my dad works for a TV station and might know but I can't ask him now). Ion may want your DOB just to confirm you're over 13?

No. My mom is deaf, but she's not culturally Deaf. I was wondering if I counted as a CODA or not. :P

I second this. I'm hearing, and my deaf ed major has a one year immersive residential practicum at a deaf school (where I am right now). Outside of our rooms, we're required to sign, and I've really gotten much better at ASL since I started it! Also, Undergraduate Admissions, New Signers...
