I was curious about who are the Democratic Party presidential candidates for this year. I googled it and found this link: Democratic Party presidential candidates, 2012 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. I laughed at the name Vermin Supreme. I didn't know that he is a perennial candidate...

    Ah, the USA needs this.

Yes, I have encountered the Blue law when I was living in Louisana. I tried to buy picture frames but the cashier told me she couldn't sell them on Sundays. More on Blue law - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Carsickness in dogs

My dachshund used to be carsick. I don't think she got carsick since I put her in the back, letting her run from window to window. My ex-husband gets carsick and he told me that he had to sit up front looking out so he doesn't get sick. Maybe that is why my dog didn't get sick when she looked...

    Foods you hate to eat!?!

Another seafood hater here! I am not crazy about eating steak/liver as it was too tough. Chicken drumsticks and nuggets are the only meat I would eat before I became vegetarian. I have always hate fish probably because of the smell. I don't like raw tomato but love spaghetti sauce and the...

To locals, domestic abuse data all too real

I know what you mean... a young woman might mistook her boyfriend's jealousy as a sign of his love for her. That is how a young woman might get sucked into this kind of relationship because she misinterpreted her boyfriend's behavior.

To locals, domestic abuse data all too real

Agree with you. People don't really change. At a reunion, I notice a guy that I knew from school when I was young and he hasn't changed at all (bully) but at least he had left me alone.

Signing "If" when meaning "What is...?"

I was thinking of the sign of a scale where you balance two different weights when you said "if". In the example you gave us, we would use "suppose" so yeah sometimes we would mouth the word "if" when we sign "suppose". Your example, the teacher would said in English... "Suppose it is...
