The key is that Purple says, "will be" which means some day in the future. They do not promise an exact date for these features.

Someone told me that when you get the black screen, to hit the privavcy button and then hit it again and it works. Purple is supposed to update ssoon to fix it. That's what I was told. No idea if it's true.

Are there many mean interpreters on Purple? I've already had two who have no poatience. I've never seen such behavior on Sorenson or ZVRS. Does this happen to others?

One interesting thing is that the installer of my SmartVP was my old college roommate who lives in a state 500 miles away. They sent him here for a week to install them as quickly as possible. Next week he goes to a third state to do the same thing. I'm kind of wondering if Purple is trying...

Transferring files between computers?

Nope, no Skype. I do like it so far, but when the other person is on a Sorenson VP, the video is not the best. It works though. I've yet to call someone who has a SmartVP to see how clear it is. The NTouch does seem to have better video performance, but I haven't call enough to say for sure...

Yes. You can download that program. It has the ability to save subtitles, and I think closed captions.
