    SSI/SSDI and School

I'm all good there! ASL is 4 and I think the art class I'm on the waiting list for is 3 units. Part of the reason I'm going on campus vs online is partly because I have social anxiety and I'm trying to break that issue.

    SSI/SSDI and School

Thanks so much for your input :) I have a hard time juggling work and school (have tried in the past, didn't do well) which is why I'm wanting to dedicate my time as a student. For now, I'm just going in for two classes then once I know the FASFA kicked in I'll go for more classes in the next...

    SSI/SSDI and School

Financially I'm not worried about school, I qualified for the FASFA so I'm good there, I just didn't know if SSI/SSDI cuts you off if you become a full-time student or anything like that. Since its my first time to college, I'm taking ASL 1 and elementry drawing & comprehension. I wanted to...

Do you have an allergy to pollen?

I have bad allergies from Spring-Fall season and it gets so bad that I need a prescription to keep it under control. I take Allegra and Flonase nasal spray along with another one for that. Also allergies triggers up my asthma so I have to be really equipped lol Not fun!

    SSI/SSDI and School

Does anyone know if there are any special rules if I went to college in order to keep my benefits? example: Have to be a Part-Time student/have no more than such amount of units. Anything like that? If it helps I'm in California.

    Hashimoto Disease

Well for me it was a lot of factors that got me the diagnosed Hashimoto Disease. Originally they were trying to figure out why I've been having a period every day for a year ... ultrasound went fine, blood work raised a lot of questions, then my symptoms confirmed it, along with my family...

How do you cope with LOUD tinnitus at night?

I have it every single day, it's rough! I can mask it with my hearing aid on most of the time, but with it out its all I hear is the ringing sound and its extremely annoying. What worries me is when the hearing aid no longer benefits me one day, how will I deal with the ringing sound that I...

    Adjustment to late onset deafness

So I had a recent MRI and found out a possible cause to my hearing loss as a child was encephalitis (had a fever of 104.4 and lost complete hearing on my right, then some on my left) but my hearing is degrading due to nerve issues they can't fix and now I can't even listen to classical music...

Woman says she killed 20+ people

I remember reading about this story. I'm very curious to see how this story unfolds. That's a big number of people shes saying she killed and scattered around so many places. Personally, I think shes trying to brag to be "famous" so to speak. She did say she has the locations of the people...

    Hashimoto Disease

I have quite a few of them. Don't mean to give TMI but I was on my period for a solid year. As in every day. ....Yes I'm alive lol I'm surprised it didn't make me anemic. That was to big indicator. I have depression, low energy, always sensitive to cold.
