    Cochlear or Advanced Bionics?

That's definitely the outcome I am hoping for. Right now with my hearing aid I hear at 13%. Very discouraging and I constantly feel anxiety, depressed and isolated. I'm getting my first vaccine today and just waiting on the appointment for the CT scan. Sent from my SM-G900T using AllDeaf App...

    Cochlear or Advanced Bionics?

I think if I went with AB my options would be Nadia or Neptune. I only have one friend who went with Cochlear but that's all I know on that. Those of you who have either brands are you happy with it?

    Cochlear or Advanced Bionics?

Thanks for your reply! There are two things I really like about AB. The fact their partners with Phonak and they seem like they have more to offer than Cochlear. When you get AB does the Nadia and Neptune in the same box when you first get it?

    Cochlear or Advanced Bionics?

Hey everyone! I finally went to a Cochlear Implant specialist and he gave me the run down to what to expect, process before and after surgery. He encouraged me to talk with anyone that has the implant done to learn from their experiences, brand they use. The brand choices I would have is...

    Any teachers out there?

I am a bit of both a invert and a people person (years of retail and food service forced that one into me). I can put on a game face and be tough when I need to be, my biggest concern was communication issues. I'm currently working on my ASL and attempting to becoming more fluent with it. My...

    Any teachers out there?

So I have a very big passion for art, and currently majoring that in college but still pondering career paths I may want to take. I thought about becoming a art teacher.... My problem is I can't understand people when they talk (and as you know lipreading can be tiring). Out of curiosity...

    Sleep Apnea

I understand how you feel. There are times when I miss music and feel sad but I try to look at things in a more positive prospective. For me, I find other things to keep me relaxed like painting as a form of therapy. You could teach your daughter baby sign language.... which would really be...

    Sleep Apnea

I've already been through the sleep study and was recommended for the CPAP machine. I was diagnosed with OSA, I'm just trying to see if there's others on her who has it. Been smoke free for 4 years.... I snore so bad in every sleeping position that even my poor girlfriend hears me with her ear...

    Sleep Apnea

Part of my issue is weight, but that's only part of my problem. The other is I have a deviated septum and my jaw is pushed back a bit (born that way, forgot what it was called). I did a at home sleep study and responded well with the CPAP machine. I'm just waiting to get mine in the mail soon.
