I'm exactly the same. Bilateral speech discrim is 32% but I have 0% speech discrim when wearing just one hearing aid. I feel like I don't hear a thing when wearing just one hearing aid, no matter what ear it is. It's weird how it all works etc!

Would they put the BAHA on her deaf side and it'll vibrate the sound to her working cochlear on the other side so she will be getting sound from her deaf side altho in her working ear??

If you wanted silver battery draws tho, they'll only cost around the $4 dollar mark. The audio shoe is the expensive part :) I do agree tho that black goes well with silver. Oh by the way, Phonak recommend leaving the audio shoes on at all times. They said they are made to leave on.

Looking at the fitting ranges, the Naida UP has a bigger fitting range and can fit lesser losses unlike the Unitron. This is because of the feature Sound Recover which the Unitron doesn't have.

I've just looked up the Unitron HA and in terms of power it's equal to the Naida Q UP not the Naida Q SP which is why the Unitron properly sounds better. God Luck with the Unitron but to trial them fairly, you should try the Naida Q UP rather then the Naida Q SP.
