Finally worked out how to upload a photo, lol. Here are my new ear molds. I also got a lot of purple glitter ear moulds that I got 2 weeks ago. I much prefer ear molds rather then domes. I think most (at least Phonak do) BTE hearing aids can work with either domes or ear moulds. Even RIC...

I've got a family member with these HAs. She likes hers a lot. She also doesn't have any programs. I don't wear these HAs myself but I don't have any programs either. For the HA to work, you don't need programs.

I had an appointment yesterday to get new earmolds in color. I tried to get color 2 years ago when I got my last set of earmolds but the audiologist said she couldn't do color even tho Starkey do color. Went to a different audiologist yesterday but same company and he has ordered me purple...

Are you getting new hearing aids? Do you still have only 1 x Oticon Nera?

My audiologist gets my earmolds from Starkey. I can choose up to 5 colors at one time.

These are skeleton earmolds. They've got a cut out to allow air to the ears.

The NHS is cutting back unfortunately and we (in my area I live in) are having to pay for earmolds now as the NHS will only provide earmolds every 4 years.

I would go for the cheapest which also includes fittings/adjustments appointments included in the price.

Yep you won't be paying that much for earmolds. I pay in the UK around £70 for a pair. They won't be that much in the US.

There's no such thing as Lloyds in the UK. I was referring to the USA Lloyds. I would love to do my own earmolds but there's no such thing as that, in the UK.

Lloyds do a DIY earmold where they send you the stuff to make impressions then you send the impressions to Lloyds and they'll make you earmolds.

If he's used to BTE HAs why doesn't he trial the Oticon OPN 13PP?

I don't know much about both but isn't the OPN the only one that connects to an iPhone, the Dynamo doesn't? I would go with the OPN even tho the 13PP is new.

I wear Ultra Power 675 hearing aids and I can wear my hair down without any feedback. I would head back to your audiologist as I don't think you should be putting up with the feedback.
