Unfortunately 99% of hearing aids these days! yo have to open the battery draw to turn off including the new Naidas. Maybe if you put them in a case, you problem of them turning back on will stop? I put mine in a case and they've never turned back on!

Your problem with noise might be worse as you loose hearing/become deaf. Look up recruitment and you'll understand. I have a friend with it and even tho she's profoundly deaf, she suffers from it really bad. Any noise and it's painful for her :( Are you going to loose hearing by surgery or...

My Naidas came from Minneapolis, Minnesota but I use audio boots from the UK. The Naida is the same throughout the world. They are all made in Switzerland. The audio boots are what connects the wires. I'm 99.9% sure, the OP will be save. He just needs a FM program for it to work.

A battery draw is the bit that you put the battery in. That comes off with a pin and wears away over time. It's called a battery draw!!!!

I would also recommend getting a spare pair of AS10 battery draws that allow you to use your audio shoes from your audiologist either in silver or black. The audio shoes last a lot longer the battery draws do. Just means you don't have to order from the Connevans and have a spare pair of audio...
