I got to get a CI so I can post freely in Alldeaf! Apparently, there's this secret club. Who's joining me?!

Badly damaged nerves. Won't work for me...

I think I will just say what I want and let the chips fall where they may!

Wow, you mean Deaf people are allowed to say what they think and feel? What a concept. I like it.

Hon I'm being sarcastic because there's this notion that Deaf people should not contribute to threads about the CI even though some of us are educators, specialists, and even parents of deaf kids. If I were to get one I'll make sure it wasn't the Freedom...I had to do so much troubleshooting with that one!

I do not intend to be insulting, so no offense to anyone.

Oh right...I agree with you, DBG. Thanks for filling me in. I am using my phone as I am still at work so I will need to get on the computer to see what's up.
 
Well, if you are referring to the "For CI Users Only" thread - any of us who are not CI implanted were not meant to comment for the OP wanted to know how CI implantees feel about their scars being touched.
 
I'm referring to the whole section for the last five years or so...

I'm referring to audism that keeps showing its ugly rear whenever someone downright assumes Deaf people are incapable of making informed conclusions and decisions.
 
Don't worry Shel...apparently there are worse things than being called stupid because we're deaf...some people think you're willing to murder your husband because you're too horny. Now that's a thread.

I don't know which is more frightening...audism or having people think I am capable of murder..lol
