Woman Accused Of DUI While Picking Up Kids From School - Local News Story - WLWT Cincinnati

MADEIRA -- A Madeira woman is accused of being intoxicated while picking up her children from school.

Lynn Hodges, 45, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, DUI and child endangering.

Police said Hodges picked up her son from school on Thursday afternoon, then hit a pole on her way to get her daughter from another school.

Hodges was questioned by police after arriving at her daughter's school with damage to her car.

Court documents indicate that Hodges had a blood alcohol level of .297 percent, nearly four times the legal limit.

Hodges was released on $2,000 bond.

that crazy!

I wonder if her charges will be more due to it happened in a school zone. I know in Florida, if you speed in a school zone, the fines are doubled to the usual fines.

Whoa she made an bad decision! That is awful endangering her own kids and others.....

That's so awful. I hope she gets a big penalty.

Drunks don't know right from wrong, all they will do is deny they have a problem. They will especially say anything to keep their oh-so-fragile confidence from being shot down. Like Jiro said, this world is coming to an EPIC FAIL. LOL

Oh boy. I would hope this is a wake up call for her to quit drinking. I doubt it.
