Deaf Festival in Louisville, KY on July 1, 2006

Thanks for info

Hello Jolie

I just saw your post. I moved up to Lexington area two months ago and am trying to get a job at KY School for the Deaf in Danville. Had big interview yesterday.

Eastern KY University in Richmond has interpreting program and I've heard about two regular Deaf events. PM me if you want more info. I hope I can get to Deaf bowling in Richmond tonight.

Hi ITPJohn -

How do you like the Lexington Area so far? I don't live very far from Lexington. Ah an interview at KSD? I hope that went very well and praying for the good outcome that comes for your way.

Yes, I am familiar with the ITP at EKU and I do know several people at EKU as well.

Oh I also have a link that contains several deaf events that is in Kentucky and I'll post it in here for you and others to have a see at it.

Here it is - http://www.geocities.com/ky_deaf_events/

That site tends to update pretty much often so, be sure to check it whenever you can. I hope this is informative for you :)

The interview yesterday had six people asking me questions. Got my fingers crossed, but I felt like a beginning ASL student walking into a NAD convention. Nervous is a HUGE understatement. I may be able to work a few hours at KSD if someone calls in sick over the holidays. Time will tell.

Thanks for the link. You already know about the bowling in Richmond and the Friday nights at Fayette Mall. Maybe I'll see you at the mall on the 18th. My profile here has my pic. Welocme to AD.
