I have a hard time searching around the stuff for my little tomboy 12 yrs old girl for chrismtas. She has everythings. She has NO NO NO NO interests in getting new clothes, make up, jewerly, girly girls stuff.

She does love the kind of NCIS (abby the gothic hottie gal) stuff, expertiment, black and red, boyish stuff,..

Just throw yoru ideas here that I did not think of before.


yes she has Ipod, and phone. no laptop. we have them.

She has no interests in getting boots or shoes. Oh boy!!!!
 
She likes Abby but not Abby's clothes? Too bad because Abby-style accessories (funky scarves and socks) would be good stocking stuffers.

Does she like science? Gadgets? Books? Animals? Board games? Drawing?

Tickets to a special museum exhibit or science/gadget fair?

You say "tomboy." Does that mean she enjoys sports, bike riding, skating?

Does she like to decorate her room with an unusual lamp or large comfy pillows?
 
She is no whiz in science but LOVE to experimenting stuff. NOt clothes but like abbey's science stuff. She loves sports. She does have bike, and electric scooter.

I m thinking about getting cool lamp and chair for her new desk. I need one major one and small varied of stuff.

That is what I was thinking too , a gift card to a favorite store .
I think buying gifts for any 12 yo kid .

Oh thats a good idea.. i think the second link would be fun for her. maybe it helps her to learn about the balance. lol thanks.


No gift card. she has plenty of money in her own tiny bank and has not used them! christmas is what kids like to open the gifts.

She likes to ski.. will check any funky stuff for her to wear it for ski.

Good point. Nothing like the mysteriousness of a colored wrapped present. Keep receipts in case she doesn't like it in any way.

oh yes we hate that when we kept receipts for years. lol. once kids lvoe their gifts, then we are thrilled to get rid of the receipts. :lol:
