whoa whoa...ok.

Well..

I do remember when I first reacted about my dear friend who I went to school with. He admitted to me that he was gay. I didnt approve at first. BUT, I was young and stupid. I later learned that it was wrong of me to judge him. I knew who he was. He was a great guy. SO I love him and it doesnt matter if he s straight or gay.

C'mon. It s not like he/she will cast a spell on you for being gay/lesbian.

Nothing wrong with homosexual, That's their business, If they are homosexual.

I never had anyone who was homosexual in my class, If there were without my knowledge then, It wouldn't bother me at all.

You are in school to learn, Why would that effect you? :dizzy:

Indeed. My good friend (deaf) 'came out of the closet' one or two years ago that he is gay. It does not even turn me off or something.. Actually, I had my own suspicions about him being a gay for years but I didn't bother to ask or dive deeper into that.

Wait.. I am gay! *shock* I am gay! Actually, I mean, I am happy for him.

Yeah. I suspected that he was gay too. All of my friends made fun of him that he was gay. Of course, he denied it at first. Then few yrs later, he admiited that he was. But now we are still good friend and he came to my wedding! What a wonderful guy!

well, nothing you can do with their sexuality.

My sister in law admitted to me and her brother (my hubby) that she was lesbian before telling her whole family. We accepted her for who she is.

I don't know about classmates. Havent gone back to tex in years. hmm I wonder. If one of classmate was les or gay, I wouldn't have a problem w that.

*ahem* I know few of my classmates who are gay before I become gay.

Yes, their business and our business are same but LOVE, period.

Okaay...

I have two people in my uni class who are gay/lebsian, doesnt bother me! In fact me and my friends knew before they told us! As you get older, you will get to know more gays and lebsians then you did at school cos they become brave enough to tell everyone.

EDIT: Also I don't agree with the way you link the gays like they have a disease, you put in your statement that "someone had gays". IT IS NOT A DISEASE

Sara is 23 or 24, that's old enough to be mature. You should know better than that! Look at your birthdate, born in 1981. The classmates don't bother me either, there were a few bi-sexual and gay ones and they learn the same thing as we do, it doesn't make any difference, the only difference is their sexual life. Please be more open minded, Sara. If you don't like them, then you are homophobia.

Sara,

Sounds like you need a course in how to live in the real world. There are many types of people in our society, and that includes those who are gay. There's nothing wrong with being gay. It's who the person is. It's your perogative to distance yourself from them if you wish, but I think you would do better to befriend a gay person. You might find you'll become much more tolerant of people and their differences, and by that, I mean all people. Because, we were not made from cookie cutters. Like it or not, we are all different. It's up to each of us to accept the differences and learn to get along. I sincerely hope you can learn to accept people as they are. I really think you'll be a better person for it.

I wish you well.

:-o Sara--

Hmm, You definitely dont accept there are gay and lesbian in the world. Hmm, You sound like when I was in high school but surprised right now I am lesbian myself. I was totally against gay and lesbian for years til I became lesbian when I was 18 (I never regret that part but other part I DO regret but no comment what that is).
Honey, You will somehow accept them if you bump into one and become a friend without knowing that person who is gay or lesbian til later tell you. WHAT WILL U DO? Think about it.
I MAY had gay and lesbians in my classes but I never noticed since I dont know how to notice them til when I was 18. I picked it up the hints. But I ended up had a best friend when I grew up since 3rd grade. She came out as lesbian when we were graduating. I ACCEPTED HER because she is my best friend for years, NO MATTER WHAT. :) Even on my swim team, a guy who is gay. My dear, you will meet gay and lesbians everywhere without you knowing OR you know it.

ACCEPT THE FACT or YOUR LOSS-- *chuckles* LIVE WITH IT. I am proud to be lesbian for soon to be 9 years!!!

*SMH* what a homophoia gal :sure:
