I would often list bikes with flat tires for sale. I may tell customer----$45, you fix 2 flat tires or $60, I fix.

I imagine that you see a lot of ads like that. Maybe there is a riding lawn mower for $125, you fix carburetor or $200, I fix.

Maybe you saw an ad for a car with locked engine. $4000, you fix or $7000, I fix.

I'm thinking of doing less "you fix or I fix" things. I think I'll just go ahead and fix them. You know, fix flat tires and sell for $60.

What do you think? What do you think of " you fix or I fix" ads?

Just fix and sell for the higher price. Then the customer has less thought that they can argue.

What about turbocharged tires?

That is a good point , that does leave room for a customer to want the tires fixed for free . This could lead to too many headaches for the OP.
