Now this post depresses me. I am 44 and I have never known what it is like to have normal hearing. I was born deaf due to pre-natal Rubella. The way I see it, I gained a new world full of visual wonders and I've had a life long interest in the Arts as a result of my deafness.No point in mourning what can't be regained.
