A palindrome is when something is read the same forward and backwards. It applies to numbers and letters. For instance, here are a few sample palindromes: "Madam, I'm Adam." and "race car". Here's one that's considered to be the longest palidrome ever created. It's 17,259 words long!
I just realized that it's too damn long to post here. I'll post a link to it.

That palidrome didn't even make sense.. you're right it does read forward and backwards the same.. but shouldn't it make sense too? Heh

Yeah, you're right. However, it doesn't exactly have to make sense. If it did, it would be even more amazing. The challenge is finding a set of words and put them in the right order so that it can be read both ways. 17,000 words? Sounds impossible... yet it's been proven! Heh!

Yeah true... :) It is challenging, I wouldn't have made it anywhere close to 17,000 words.

This was actually done with a program. The program was rewritten several times to expand the number of words. Before, it was 15,000 words. Now, it's gone over 17,000 words! Heh!

Oh that's cheating! tsk. lol

whoa 17k words......

That beats "Rise sir lap dog, revolt, lover, God, pal, rise sir!"

That was uttered by someone during the suffrage movement in the late 1800's.
