What I don't get is how can someone scam someone using VRS when an interpreter can SEE the deaf person on the screen using sign language???
I've heard of the scams from people pretending to be deaf using the WEB interpreter service such as the AT&T relay. But this is a different technology and making policies against such technology is downright discrimination!! 
I think we need to start writing to Congress regarding this and make it against the law to ban VRS.
