Whoa... thats discriminating... the one should never be judged the way they look...

I've seen stories like this a few times already and lawsuits usually follow these cases. The lady is going be rich.

There isnt much about what we can do about these gender ambiguous ladies showing up in ladies rooms.

Geez...the restaurant will pay a huge price for their assumption and refusing to listen to a customer.

I don't know.....maybe it was an honest mistake....

The woman tried to show her gender identity but the bouncers refused to listen to her by saying that they would none of that there. Is that a honest mistake by refusing to give her a chance to prove them wrong?

I must admit I didn't not read the article in it's entirety; if what you have added is from the article, then, no. Thanks, Shel....

Yea, the bouncers came in the bathroom after a woman complained to them about a man being in the women's bathroom and she told them that she can prove her gender to them and I guess they just "escorted" her and her friends out after making them pay for their dinner. Sounds kinda a harsh approach..ouch! I would be scared and humiliated if I was in that woman's shoes for doing something so innocent as going to the bathroom.

U are welcome. :)

Geez that's really strange. I've been wonder what she looks like that she could be mistaken for a man. Transexual, maybe? I dunno, I can't imagine a masuline woman looking like a man.

I have met a few women who do look like men. I play slow pitch softball and I swear some of the players on the teams look like men. Nothing wrong with that but it can create awkward situations or situations like this one.

Bouncer had a bad day? That's horrible though how people get treated. I hope justice is served.

It was more of an honest mistake of what happened in the bathroom.

There was a talk show about people whose voices were different than what they looked like. They had a guy who was in his 20s, but sounded like a girl. They had a woman who was in her 40s, but sounded like a man.

The guy said that one of his jobs was as a phone-sex operator because his voice sounded like a woman. He didn't really object to it much since it paid well and no one ever met him in person. His only disappointment was that people didn't always take him seriously.

As for the women, she mentioned having problems with drive-thru orders. While most restaurants try to show respect by saying "ma'am" and "sir", they often make a mistake with this woman by calling her "sir" due to the very manly voice she had. That was a honest mistake.

Yeah, not listening to someone's side of the story because they're impatient, rude, whatever, is not an honest mistake.
