Woman found dead 2 years later in Maine home

OMG ! I can't believe the police didn't go inside when all the mails was piled up outside. :(

What a sad situation! That was on our local news yesterday, can't stop thinking about it. Not too far from my location. How unfortunate, people making welfare checks and not go or even break into a place after someone hasn't been seen after 2 years and the mail piled up.

Also, how sad not to have any relatives or friends to check one's whereabouts!:(

I agree ! I had a client that was blind and she didn't answer her door , I called my boss and she told me to go onto my next client . I told her No , I am going to call 911 and have the police come . I was :shock:
that I was told not to go follow up on the woman . The police came and while he was banging on my client's door the woman next door said she went into a nursing home last night. I told the police there was no way I could leave not knowing if my client was OK or fallen on the floor. The police said I did the right thing . I would had been worrying about my client all day. I was working 12 hours , and felt a lot better knowing my client was OK and not dead or dying on her floor. I was wondering if was any near you when I read.
