Woman dies from carport falling from weight of snow

This is so sad she had a 10 yo son and all that had to been done was to check and see if there was too much snow on the carport roof . :(
 
People should take precautions with things like this. Did they see all those snow over car port? Some one would have figured that car port would eventually fall from all those snow.

I guess not , I heard on the news that carport was build onto house and the weight snow pulled the carport roof from the house and fell on the woman.
And when it rain the snow act like a sponge and hold all that rain too adding more weight to the roof. I been trying to get my condo to check the gutters but the damn fools spend all summer wasting money on grass seeds.
