May 16, 2003 — A Camden County woman is indicted for allegedly having sex and not telling the man she was infected with HIV.

Twenty-nine-year-old Hilda Benitez of Bank Street in Bridgeton, is charged with the third-degree offense which carries a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison.

She allegedly had sex with a 19-year-old man between October 2002 and November 2002.

No trial has been set.

Yeah, it's a crime to do that because you putting a victim in a big risk. I learned about that in my health class.
