I am upset

Widnows Vista MCE won't .MS-DVR to BurnDVD (.TS Format) won't work CC

but
MS-DVR will work read and write CC
CC won't work write to BurnDVD
any Movie DVD will work read CC on MCE

you think we must FCC Law to Microsoft?
 
I have never seen any software that burns movie from computer to DVD and retain CC. This does not necessarily violate FCC rules because you can still see CC from .MS-DVR by playing back through Media Center. I have both Vista MCE and MCE 2005 and they both have same issues.

Suggestion: Buy a huge hard disk drive (internal or external) and copy movies as .MS-DVR. Use MCE to playback movies from the large hard disk drive. It's actually cheaper to use hard disk drive than burn DVDs.

Unfortunately, this is how digital CC works. It's not as simple as the old fashion analog CC.
