William Clay Ford Sr., Detroit Lions owner, dies at 88 - ESPN
I'll be curious to see if Lions get sold or stay in family. You may remember that Pistons were sold after Billy Davidson passed away. It seems like NFL is much healthier financially so I don't think Ford family will sell the Lions. At least not in the foreseeable future….
Also, it seems like Ford was great in Ford's younger days. Maybe the time passed by him. However, Ford would probably be out of commission if not for William Clay Ford. He may have not bought Super Bowl to Lions, but he made many of us proud of Ford for many years. Ford may or may not be doing well now, but they were one of the best in business back then.
