Palin candidacy sparks working moms debate

Will vice presidential candidate help or hurt everyday working moms?

What do you think of this?

My personal POV, that I do not like Palin's example... I rather to nurse my baby and spent my time with my baby until my baby goes kindergarten at age 3 then go back to work... than go back to work to leave 3 days old baby.

I think it would be a good idea to take kids with workin' moms since there are sooo many missin' children nowdays... and, even at daycare agencies have their issues as well. I don't trust anybody. Today ( modern days ) is gettin' worse than good ol' days. There's somethin' WRONG with nowdays than old days.

The article says that Palin nurses her baby and keeps him with her at the office.

Palin herself has dismissed those who call into question her ability to balance raising five children with her political duties.

''To any critics who say a woman can't think and work and carry a baby at the same time, I’d just like to escort that Neanderthal back to the cave,” the Anchorage Daily News quoted Palin saying last March, after the surprise announcement that she was seven months pregnant with Trig.

I read the above and thought about myself w/ my toddler and preschooler. i remember when I had an infant. i was sleeping w/ my eyes open when I went in to work (8 wks after giving birth). What I am trying to say is I COULD NOT THINK the first year of having a baby!!! Palin, IMO, would hurt working mom's job security. Palin would INSIST working mom's work AT LEAST 40 hours/week MINIMUM! Women are special and should be treated as such.
Women should not have to have a baby and STILL live her life the way she did b/4 giving birth! If you ask me, I think Palin is going to make life worse for working moms, not better.

Because you live in old-fashion without spank. What a weird country we live in.

I leave my kids with my housewife because the kids need an idol to look at and talk to and to love.

Not working mom, they aren't home much and when the kids has something to share, they aren't there or are busy.

Hmm, I thought women wanted to be treat just like men?

Why can't Palin husband look after the kid? I am sure after she is elected, Todd won't have to work.

Women wants to be treated right. Not like MEN, like they would stratch their nuts every night and tuck their hands in their pants where its' all warm and fuzzy.

Palin will want to show that she's a mother, beside this is all for the media, after she is elected, guess what, the daughter who will have a baby will feed her mom's baby and her baby.

I do this in jest so no offense but
:iobarf: to your visual, man!

Oh, and I agree w/ you. I certainly don't want to be treated like men.

What about while she has been on the campaign trail?

And, most working moms don't have the luxury of taking their infants to work with them.

Excuse me?

Sarah Palin has HURT women all over the nation by proving how idiotic she is.
