FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida (AP)—A woman has been charged with murder in the death of her 10-month-old daughter, who deputies say was bitten and violently shaken because she was crying.

Sashine Howell, 23, was being held without bail Sunday.

Broward County sheriff's deputies said Howell gave conflicting stories, first saying a boyfriend shook her daughter, Faith, and then admitting that she didn't have a boyfriend and that she shook the child herself.

According to sheriff's reports, Howell shook the baby and bit her because the infant was crying and had bonded with her father during a recent visit.

The infant had a bite mark on her back, intracranial bleeding and a swollen bruise on her head. She died Saturday at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

I like that idea. The thing that pisses me off the most (and the reason I posted this) is that she killed the baby because she was CRYING. Every year I must hear of a dozen cases just like this—parents who kill their children because they are crying. Some of them shake the baby to death, some of them throw the baby into a wall, some of them OD the kid on alcohol or sedatives. But it’s always the same fucking story—the kid died because he was crying too much. I had a neighbor once who shot his baby up with crank so that he would be too spun to cry. I turned him in to County Services. Infants only cry for three reasons: hunger, physical discomfort, or psychological discomfort from lack of stimulation. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to make a baby stop crying. It’s their only form of communication. What the fuck do you expect them to do—send you e-mail?

She shook her baby and bit her baby all because the baby bonded with its father??? That is what babies do, they develop a bond with their parents!

Geez, that woman makes my blood boil!!! Maybe someone should shake her and bite her to see what it bloody feels like!!!

That is soo sad that the mother had to do that horrialbe thing to a baby!... I cant stand people like that!! It makes me soo mad and angry that single parent out there cant control their anger when a baby or child is crying best way to do it walk out of the room take a deep breath and calm down and then go back in the room and hold/loving/caring the baby or child thats what normal people do! *tears*
 
there are some VERY sick and idiotic moms out there that would go to the extreme and in the end kill the child!

Unfortunately, I don't believe it will NEVER end....

Every year I heard of a dozen cases just like this......Parents who kill their children because they are crying Or they are being bad for some reason.....Or they just couldn't handle their temper....

How Sad to know that babies and children being killed by their parents or a family members.....Knowing that they're their fresh and blood.....

It's makes my blood boiled and my heart breaks for those babies and children who are beaten in hand of a Parent.... :mad2:

How sad we still live in an violence world.... :tears:

kids are suffering in everyway to sunday, NO child that innocent should ever deserve this, if the crying was too much, if the child rearing was to much, then turn the child over to DFS and don't allow them to suffer the way those mothers and fathers who are monsters end like this. it's un beliveable, sickening and despisable!
 
That is fucking sick!!!!

I am pregnant with my first baby boy and he's precious to me. I will never do that to my baby ever!!! Babies cry because of many things..hunger or tired or need love or etc. They can't talk yet!!!!! Geez, doesnt some parties know that their babies could have colic for a while.. geez.. it's not the babies' fault!!!!! If they don't want a baby.. then dont fucking have sex!!!!! They should have realized that having a baby is a lot of work and it's not babies fault that they cry..what can u expect.. hungry or tired??? Those stories made me cry!!!! Geez those kinds of people should be in jail forever for this abuse of babies and children..it's making me sick to my stomach. How can they hurt a precious baby??????

Those kinds of people should not be having babies at all if they don't know how to take care of it and abuse it!!!! :mad2:
