Hi everyone! I plan on getting a few Wii games for the family for Christmas. So far, we have Wii Sports, Fit and Music. I know I know..we need to get more games!

Any good games for the family? Appreciate your suggestions or feedback here.

Is Mario Cart a good one? Any others?
 
my favorites for the whole family are:

Super Mario Bros. Wii

excitebot or truck (my autistic family member loves this because it let him crash and yet he still score points)

Mario Galaxy

and Animal Crossing -- it's a very calming game. (i'll skip the wii speaks)

and yes Mario Kart is wonderful, our 8 years old son and our autistic relative love this game. But these games can be overwhelming for someone who is Autistic so you have take a break often or let him play for alittle while and call it quit for the day.
 
My son loves crashing so would the Mario Kart would be a good one? Or the Excite box or truck? Which is better for crashing? Thanks!

both but I think you will behind if you crash too much on Mario Kart, but there are ways to give you a boost. Excite bots or trucks let you get points for crashing.
 
He loves crashing, get Need for Speed : Nitro.

Burnout is a good example but too bad it's not on Wii.
 
Super Mario Kart is a good game for kids. My son loves to play it.

Also, Super Mario World also have some puzzle solving games in it.
 
I was so fun time and work out with "tennis game" from my friend's wii! :)
 
Just be aware....Mario Kart is VERY popular game....hard to get... best is order online...you can play online as well. My son loves it and had fun every time he play on it...:)

I am trying to think what other games....So far we have few such as Nerf, Smashing Bro (or something), sports, Jeep, I cant remember what other games we have....I plan get more for Christmas...maybe 2 more. I forgot what game my son wanted...Ill ask him to double check. :)
 
Are you look for Everyone-rated games?

Wii Sports: Resort (a sequel to Wii Sports)
Mario Power Tennis (gamecube game, upgraded to Wii disc with Wiimote controls. Much close to Wii Sports' tennis)
Mario Strikers Charged (soccer game)
Mario Sluggers (baseball game)
Mario Party 8 (game board with mini-games)
Wario Land: Shake It! (2D platformer game)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Not sure because it is Teenage-rated fighting game)
 
I will put all of those down and if I dont get Mario Kart then I will get the other games that have been suggested. Thanks!
 
My dad has wii games and played bowling and golf. It was fun...

Shel, if you can't find games you are looking for at the stores, I can suggest Amazon. :)

I still see Mario Kart Wii in targets and Gamestops that I go to. *shrugs*

Yea, good idea! My friend works in their wherehouse so I better support her job! :D
 
btw, if you have a daughter, she'll definitely will like animal crossing. I think you will too :)

very materialist but it's relaxing.
