Rampratt: you are correct there has been much improvements in Hearing Aids-digital and Cochlear Implants over the last few years. Let's hope for more in the future! As pointed out above re Cochlea transplants-not exactly a pressing urgent need for what appears to be an " extremely difficult procedure".
