Deafbajagal, I'm like you about firing off a note to discuss unprofessional behavior during a class.  It's unconscionable behavior that undermines a teacher's effectiveness.  But I learned the hard way to go through the principal or department head.


With all the justification for being wronged first, I'm hoping your principal will look on the way you handled things as the lesser evil.


In the '90s, after some college staff complained how I'd misunderstood verbal messages, I was able to invoke ADA and the department head okayed for me to ask that all messages to be sent to me via e-mail or by note.  Maybe you can ask for something similar.


About BCC:  Unless I misunderstood what was being explained, blind carbon copies to others about private matters still violate confidentiality.  They are just sneaker ways to do it.
