Why dogs walk in circles before sleeping

it could be animals on 4legs with tail need to do this get tail comfortable before rest of body
 
I've noticed it in my cats and dogs....always neat to find that this is their wild nature kicking in...and makes them looked less wacked out too...know that I know what it's all about....:D

My little dog Marley does this to some extent. Mostly just at bedtime though.

My class practiced interpreting for this vignette that talked about why dogs do this! Thought that was interesting and wanted to share :)
