how come they dont have their own club like HOH or late deaf poeple who have been exposed to hearing world without a bit of Deaf world and have the same experiences?

People aren't going to join high performance clubs just because they've a car or cars with turbocharged engine. Maybe they enjoy themselves on their own without group.

FYI, I will be in your city for 10 days in May.

Yeah? Is there something going on here that has attracted you?

On the long Memorial Day weekend, we will be in Vacaville for a bowling tournament. Four days, I think.....

How about HLAA? Isn't that the equivalent of a late deafened club?

From my perspective, because I've never been to my local HLAA chapter's meetings (not even sure if it's still active), I would equate it more to support group than to a club where you "hang out".

There may be chapters that include activities where members "hang out".

Pro-Life Film Festival. It is in L.A. I am going to stay in L.A. 5 days and Ranch CuCu for 5 I think. (I know it's not your actual city, but close) May 2-12.

Do you mean late HOH or pediatric HOH? IMHO, it's audist to ask why pediatric dhh folks don't have their own clubs. We are just as Deaf as someone with a profound loss who doesn't wear aids/use implants

and the thing is, clubs and organizations specificly for HOH people tend to be very Hearing Health 101. Kinda a dull approach.
