I watched the YouTube video. That is very interesting why hearing people are taking over as if we are children. We can manage and do better than hearing people. We can take care of ourselves and do the things like hearing people do whether at home or at work or at College, and whatever. No matter if other people who have disabilities like blind, disabled on wheelchair, mental retardent, or relying handicapped along with deafness. We are not perfect but we make the best we can do to adapt to the environment as long as we have a good brain on our shoulder. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out how to live our own lives. Yes, the hearing people should leave us alone and not say that we can not do this or do that. As for teaching the ASL, the hearing people should not take over unless they ask us for permission to teach the ASL. Gawd, we are not children. Will the hearies going to stop this nonsense of trying to take over? They need to stop this behavior and smell the coffee.
