who can u bitch to about deaf issues, i got a few companys on my hit list, regal cinimas is #1 right now

Well, first you’re going to have to give us a little bit more information. From what you wrote in your post, it seems as if you have some grievance against Regal Cinemas based on some sort of discriminatory action you feel they have committed against you. On the other hand, it may be that you just don’t like their popcorn. Give us some specific details and there will be lots of people on this board who will be glad to give you advice.

regal plays deaf movies now and then at my local one in fredericksburg VA, and whenever they do it is in the smallest theature, i mean its this tiny little one, and the screen sucks looks better on my TV, and they dont hardly ever play any, at most 1 a month, a example, they showed T3 Nov 25 i think, was released on DVD like the 18

i mean rediculas, hey im deaf and i want to see some movies damnit, and i dont want to only be able to go monday afternoon, or tuesday morning at 9 am, jesus do they think deaf dont work?
 
Yeah, I can understand why that would be a pisser. Who the hell goes to a movie at 9:00 in the morning? Why don’t you contact the corporate office and clue them in as to what a good opportunity they’re passing up? They probably think that Deaf people don’t want to go to movies because all DVD’s are closed captioned. Explain to them that Deaf people have an unusually strong desire for face to face social interaction, and illustrate this by describing the historical significance of the Deaf clubs in Deaf society. Do some homework and present them with demographic data showing the number of deaf people in your city. Suggest that they set aside one screen for showing OC movies every Friday night. Show them where the money is. That will get their attention.

I'm bitching at this computer. It's my parent's computer and it really sucks. They've got it set up so that all webpages that are visited, are automatically saved to offline viewing. Later, when I visit a webpage... it uploads quickly. However, it's old news and I want to see the current one. In order to do that, I gotta click on REFRESH every time! Argh! Also, they have it set so there are no animated GIFs! Jeez!
 
We'll be a healthier lot if more DID bitch and moan more rather than bottle them all inside us. Bottled and will eat away at us. :mrgreen:
 
I think there is a fine line where a healthy bitchin' can go a long way to get things off your chest and solve problems, rather than to bitch and be obsessed about something all day long or weeks. My mother is probably amongst one of the negative people I know in my life, and you get tired of listening to people bitch about unimportant things after a while.
