I hope I am in the right place. I am trying to recall who wrote this: "The society makes us disabled because they do not make it accessible for us"?
I am trying to remember where I read that. I think it may have come from one of these journals that NAD printed every year.
I would appreciate any help with this and put me in a right direction as to where to find this person's writing.
Also, if you have any famous Deaf quotations, I would be delighted to hear them as well. I know very few quotes--one made by a former Galluadet University President Jordan and one from NAD's first president Veditz (sp?).
