I would like to know who is using Sonovan hearing aids, it seem made for sever to profound hearing loss, this is a link for more info, I had it but I returned it because I think you need some traing to use it for those have high frequency hearing AVR's ImpaCt Hearing Aids
and Sonovation
I'm using the sonovan avr impact..I think its called..I've had them since like 2001...they're pretty good hearing aids..haven't had any major problems with them at all...in the beginning there was alot of trips back and forth to the audiologist to get the settings right and the compression right..but they are amazing hearing aids...made it so I could hear the S sound and all that...and soon after I started actually being able to pronounce the sound since I could hear it. Made a big improvement for me. I've been looking into getting new ones since these ones are getting up there in age and if they die on me I'm gonna be in heaps of trouble cause without my hearing aids I can't hear like anything. I kinda leaning towards the Naida V phonak one..but little confused as to which one I would end up needing..the sp or up...my audiologist never explained my audiogram chart to me so I don't know what my hearing really is? I dunno if I upload my last chart if someone could translate it and tell me exactly what it means and all that  I know the last time that my audiologist had me try a high powered hearing aid it was too loud for me..and thats when we switched to the avr ones I have now..but yea...I dunno bout any of it....anyone wanna offer any advice?
