WOW that is..... CHEAP! i wish NY has that. here in NY (on long island) you can only find $800+ for small basement studio or $1,800+ for 2 bedrooms. in NYC, its much more than that.
so you'll be living with roommates, it shouldnt be a problem. if i were you i'd go for house if you and your roommates will be more careful on the utilities. good luck!
