When you changed your hearing aid/s, what did you do with those you wore previously? Did you keep the same earmould/s, and if not, why?

No I get a new one(mold) each year. The old ones usually are dried out. When they do that they shrink so I always get a new one to go with my new Hearing aids so I can get the best sound quality.

Children get ear molds much more frequently. When I was younger, I'd have to get a new one every four to six months. Now that I'm nearly an adult physically, I have to get a new one every seven or so months. It depends on the material used because my ears are sensitive... we've tried vinyl, ect.

Ear molds tend to harden up over time and turn an icky color. Besides if you lose weight or gain weight or what have you, you need to get another mold made. I usually just chucked them since they are custom made and I can never wear them again. With the hearing aids I would donate to see if someone else can get some use out of them.

Well since im allergic to that kinds of ear mold I have the kinds that doesnt get dried out nothing or shrink. I have been using it for years. Its smooth and easy to clean. I have not gotten new ear molds in a few years.
