I guess, I always in the safe zone without any incident.

Last week at college!!!

Why? How?

I think I dialed 911 by accident instead of 711 for relay operator service... I noticed that it was being answered by operator for 911 emergency service. They asked too much questions. I said "Wrong number, sorry" I hanged up and decided to make another call after my class. Then I saw an police officer came in the hall and was looking around for someone who called. I thought about saying to him "My mistake...blah blah" But I didn't want to be late for my class so fuck that. But 911 around here are still in good service because the police officer showed up damn fast!

Good point. The reason I use :o because it was kinda childish of me to do that since it was a late night time, I only had a severe ear infection and I was only in college that time.

When I had my ear infected so bad, it felt like a knife stabbing me in the ear and I couldn't sleep nor keep my mind off from the pain. It's awful and that's why I called 911.

I played a prank call with my oldest Deaf sister when I was about 7 years old. I phoned 911 and yelled in the receiver, "Help, help Fire in the house!!". My sister and I did it several times before it was our bedtime. A good hour later, I was jolted from my deep sleep!!! Daddy was sooo :mad2: , signed furiously to me, "Police here, go downstairs NOW!" I went :ugh: because I was still half-asleep and nervous as hell! Sure enough, my oldest sister was whimpering, telling the police the story that I DID IT!!! I was :mad2: We both argued.. one police officer had his ear to the receiver.. and listened to us both talking.. he was able to trace the voice from the tape recording and it was MOI that was the culprit! Dammit... advanced technology.. can't beat them!! Just got a stern warning from them but I couldn't beat my parents' spanking!! They were humiliated because this all happened in front of company!! My parents had friends over and they were mortified at how bad their daughter was! I chuckle at this... but I'll keep an eagle's eye on my kids!! I'll say "I have eyes at the back of my head!!" :laugh2:

Never dialed 9-1-1, ever in my life.

When I was younger, watching the TV series "Recuse 911" hosted by William Shanter, showing real-life stories when it comes to calling 911 - it kept reelin' in my mind:

911! 911! 911! As I was brainwashed!

Then, it faded away.

I did the same thing DOMBaby!! I worked in a group home.. was going to dial 711 for Bell Relay Operator... sure enough I had to deal with a 911 operator and told them not to send a police car to the group home because the address of the group home appeared on their screen. They wouldn't believe me!! A police car arrived so fast. This was when I was working the night shift! I looked out the office window and said oh lordy!!! Police car flashing their light around the grounds and I had to wave them and say it s ok!!! I accidently pressed the wrong button.

I never called 911, but my friend and I once had to call 110 (German version of 911) when we saw a car accident on the street. Police arrived fast and so on.
