Let's say that I add you as a friend on Facebook. I'll comment on your Facebook page from now on forward. I won't comment on a person's post from last month or last year.

What about you?

Everyone is different. Sometimes I go back and read stuff from like a month ago. If I like something I might comment on it. I on purpose do not have a lot of friends on FB, don't want the drama. But, if someone accepted you as a friend then I think you can comment whenever you would like.

I am of the same thinking as Angel. If I look through a new friend's timeline(if it's not huge or has a ridiculous amount of posts dating back to 2006 or 2007 or something) and see something I like or want to comment on I will. It's not often that I do anyway and I wouldn't comment/like on a large amount of posts (that would annoy the friend and mutual friends if there are any).

When a friend request is accepted, I don't go to their FB timeline to look at their past statuses. A bit creepy to do that. That's just how I feel anyways.

Always check out any friend's request first....Have received many "spams" and deleted them....JUst sent a friend's request to someone that I personally don't know, but she is a friend of people that I do know.....
