When current-gen gaming system are going phase out? (PS2, Gamecube, GBA and Xbox) but Dreamcast is already died in 2002. Just discuss about your opinion with current-gen gaming system.

Dreamast is already died in 2002.

I'm not sure about Xbox and PS2, PS2 would still sell for long time as other few years since PS3 is expensive right now and more family games are release on PS2. Xbox is new game system in 2001 but not know about MS will phase them out but depends when 360 is more dominant, or lacking of new games on Xbox then Xbox will die.

I feel that Gamecube will phase out so earlier after Wii release and Wii is going more dominant then Nintendo would phase Gamecube out since lacking of 3rd party games and not good sell compared to SNES, NES and N64 but NES and SNES are best sold in long time ago. N64 is died in 2002, most of games are final released in 2001 and it can happen on Gamecube.

I believe PS2 will be the only current gen console to live much longer than gamecube and xbox and orginal xbox still get more games than gamecube do.

Even new games for Xbox is coming this year and it's call of duty 3, scarface, family guy game, and many more will come even for next year too. and microsoft better update the backwards compatalibity list before the end of the year.

I'm expected that new 50-300 games are update on 360.
-PGR series
-Crazy Taxi 3
-DOA Extreme
-Shenmue II

PS2 will be the last to go of the current-gen systems. Gamecube went when Zelda:TTP was announced to also be released on Wii(IMO).
As for next gen, I feel XBOX360 will get upgraded in 3-5 years when PS3 has a strong library and games that the 360 cannot touch like MGS4. The 3rd Xbox will come first, because XBOX360 came first for this next-gen. It is possible Microsoft is a step ahead of Sony and their PS3, and M$ already is working on a 3rd Xbox.
It will be very interesting between Sony and M$, while Nintendo quietly dominates sales with their Wii and DS connectivity.
One reason I suspect M$ will come out first in the generation after this next one(Xbox360PS3Wii etc) is because they need a handheld device of their own while the DS and PSP work with the Wii and. PS3.
The PS2 will live for another few years. It still has the best library of games that continutes to grow.

The GBA just won't die. I .see less and less releases, but they have been more quality, which is nice for .a change. Games like Super Robot Taisen OG2,. Summon Night 2, Pokemon. Mystery dungeon, capcom classic collections, and Yggdra Union(check this game out) keep the GBA alive and kicking and will do so for say, 5 more years.

GBA I think

But I was so happy when the dreamcast died. I actually never owned one until it died, and then for the price of it when it was released, I got the console and about 60 games :D

Dreamcast was so cool - I love the sonic games

speaking of gba...I heard gba will be the last in the gameboy generation line and nintendo DS will be replaced.

...poor gameboy. :( such memories since 1989.
