Thought this was pretty cool. Only flaw is no passenger, accident-wise and hardly any room for groceries or some things maybe.

It doesn't look very safe. What if somebody ran red light - boom, driver's dead. Or someone who doesn't pay attention and ran into it.
 
I think it's a great idea!

I suppose they wouldn't make if unsafe before it get to the public.
the car gotta pass safety tests before it hits the market.
sure, there could be some minor prototype glitches here and there at first,
but, hey,
so there were with everything else out there.

The important thing is - it is invented. and it looks so easy!

It's about the same size of a Smart car. And with all the wounded vets coming home from war that would great way for them to get around.
 
It may be great idea for the local shopping to use and easier to get in and out of the car for the convenience. Using the van takes a while to get into and to the drivers seat while this car takes less than a min and you're good to go.
