So, yes, I'm new here. Just thought I'd introduce myself, so everyone knows who I am.
My name is Robi. My younger brother was injured and lost the majority of his hearing when we were quite young. He is now a (mostly) hearing adult, thanks to modern medicine, but I never got over my passion for ASL. It's just a beautiful way to communicate. My twin brother also continued to love ASL, and has been studying to take the QAST in Nov. so he can become an interpreter. I don't want to be an interpreter, but I do want to become more accustomed to ASL, and learn more about the deaf community. I think it'd be fantastic to meet some people here, but I'm not holding my breath.
