between hard of hearing and deaf? I say it's 70 dcB, my best friend says it's 75 dcB. Who's right?
Yes, I know profoundly deaf starts at around 90 dcB but dcB wise, where does audilogical hohingness end and audiological deafness begin?

I dunno...I would say around 75db. Cos like you said profound deafness starts at 90 to 95db. Maybe it's less? You could visit an audiologist and ask that question?

Normal hearing up to 20 dB
Mild hearing loss 20 to 40 dB
Moderate hearing loss 40 to 60 dB
Severe hearing loss 60 to 90 dB
Profound hearing loss >90 dB

To be exactly...

Normal hearing -10 to 15 dB
Slight hearing loss 16 to 25 dB
Mild hearing loss 26 to 40 dB
Moderate hearing loss 41 to 55 dB
Moderately severe loss 56 to 70 dB
Severe hearing loss 71 to 90 dB
Profound hearing loss 91 to 120 dB
Deaf above 120 dB

258, SG...where did you get the statstics for the audiogram? I didn't think we'd find it on the 'Net, I just thought of going to an audiologist in person and get it from there. :P Well, many thanks! ;)

I just used google.com to search for those answers.

Take a look at this link and you can see how I used those search terms to find what I was looking for. Look in the search box.

:slap: myself...oh well...! At least, I learnt it from you and will use google next time should I need to search for something. (I *do* use google, but didn't think of it at the time!) :P
