There is qualified ASL interpreter in New Zealand, but this interpreter lives in Wellington.
You could request Deaf Aotearoa, if they can find/book you a ASL qualified interpreter, it won't be easy to find ASL interpreter in New Zealand.
Your other option is ask Deaf Aotearoa, if they can provide an interpreter who can understands one handed finger spelling and able to do one handed finger spelling.

Material things such as a hearing aid, an interpreter, resolutions to your CI issues or do you feel you will have better resolution to your issues with several sit down appointments with a counsellor?
