I graduated 87 from HS, and from 83-87 we didnt. But in grade school, every day as my homeroom teacher was a retired Marine Drill Sergent, Mrs Moore, and she was a mean , tough nail chewing old lady !!!! Do something wrong in her class and you pay the price, anywhere from push ups, to holding your arms out straight with a thick book for the duration of the class...ect... she wasnt nice at all and we didnt want to ever get caught goofing off. But I loved her classes. I thought it was funny with kids chewing gum, had to stick the wad on their nose til end of class.
