I was working on the house this morning, cleaning up as I had someone coming to pick up some scraps. I started at 7am, they got there at 9am as planned and only took a few minutes to load and they left.
I started taking items to the basement to get them out of the way for my sanding crew so they can work without anything in their way ( wont be there till tomorrow hopefully)
Anyways....
I come up out of the basement to get some more stuff and all the sudden I hear a loud SCREAM !!!
Scared the shit out of me, but no one is in the house, no one outside...nothing????
I know the house is haunted and doesnt bother me, but this completely caught me off guard since everything has been calm for quite some time now...
To make a long story short...
My wife came over with the kids last night while I was cleaning un-announced, she unlocked and walked in, knowing I wouldnt hear her ( I was right inside the door at the time putting tools away in the cabinets)
I turned and seen them and startled the hell out of me, I told her she was lucky she didnt get hit with a hammer, I would have thrown it ( was in my hand) and it was late... so wasnt a good time to prank me..lol
So when I heard this scream, which had to be loud for me to hear it, I thought they came in and I was cussing like a drunkin sailor, til I found out that no one was there.
