Part of the problem is that the computer owner can't give me enough background info. He's not sure or doesn't remember a lot of what he did, and didn't keep any notes or documentation.
I've been trying to restore the system, multiple attempts, multiple ways (including Safe Mode). It won't restore.
I've got to make a restore disk (actually thumb drive because netbooks don't have disk drives).
