Are you a morning lark, night owl, all hours hummingbird, or a badly jet lagged cuckoo?

As you can see from the timing of my post, I am a night owl - a habit not dropped since college. Suits me pretty well as most of my friends plan activities around the full moon hours also. Are you comfortable in your current setting? Or is it causing you insomnia or drowsiness? Let's see how the majority on AD manage their time... :hmm:

Hmmm...My job has me committed at all hours, It's crazy but I am so used to it. I would say I'm an all hours hummingbird. :)

I'm an all hours hummingbird, but not by choice. I have bipolar disorder and experience manic episodes (euphoria, high energy and restlessness) where I'm unable to sleep for days -- and sometimes weeks.

Tonight is one of those nights. I'm manic again and haven't slept for 5 days straight, but I'm sure my exhaustion will catch up with me sooner or later.

all hours hummingbird. my insomniac problem is pretty bad.

It varies for me. I'm pretty much normally a night owl but with the job I have and the kids, That has pretty much changed my sleeping habits.

During the weekdays, I'm up and about early in the morning and usually I don't go to bed until much later on. Some of the time during the weekends, I would stay up much later than I normally do for the weekdays.

This week, Lately, has been so bad that my sleeping hours has been out of whack trying to adjust to the Eastern Time Zone since I recently was out in the west. Also, a lot of things were going on that also didn't help me sleep that well either. In time, I hope that will downsize.

I am a night owl.

I normally go to bed at 4 am and wake up around 8 or 9 am. :)

Night owl. Because that is where my husbands work schedule puts us. I think all the most interesting things happen on my schedule anyway and I am happy with it.:)

Night owl here. I absolutely hate the early morning hrs and prefer to sleep through them most of the time. I'll only get up early if I have a reason to.

i vote night owl but i am mostly all hour hummingbird with my insomnia had been hitting me this week as my 3 weeks craziness had begin

Are you morning, afternoon or night person?

I'm not morning person. honestly, I don't like getting up early in the morning but I have to because of work and school. I'm either afternoon and night person.

I am anything but a morning person. I prefer late afternoons -- although when I'm manic (i.e. high energy levels, extremely happy, restless), I prefer nights. :)

I think SCBassist asked this question before, I answered I am an all hours humingbird, but usually a night owl. I despise the mornings! :giggle:

Night. I think my brain functions better at night. Maybe due to caffeine consumption during the day.

Nights (not by choice) but prefer the solitude of the early morning so I work hard at it.
